The Church of the Messiah Youth Group is for youth in grades 6 – 12. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Friday nights of each month, 7-9pm, except during the summer. Location is St. Anne’s School, 340 York St, in the school gym.
The youth group is a place where the seed of faith is planted and nurtured. We hope to accomplish this through studying the Bible and engaging in discussion with the youth. We desire the youth group to be a place where the youth can raise questions about anything and can receive an answer with a Christian perspective. Most importantly the youth group is a place where the youth can interact with peers facing the same challenges and questions regarding faith, school, life, family, etc. The regular meeting usually consists of a bible study, discussion time and games. Every few months there is a casual hangout time/special event simply to have fun!
