Growing in Grace

I need to develop godly attitudes.

A) Pray for godly attitudes in general & certain attitudes in particular.

B) Ask others to pray the same thing for you.

C) Repeat the attitude to help it sink in. Do this in conjunction with A & B!

Attitudes.

1. Your true glory comes from reflecting His glory in your day-to-day life.

2. Lord, help me to see the favouritism log in my own eyes before I see the favouritism speck in someone else's eyes.

3. Lord, please have the gospel of grace shape my life and control my tongue.

I need to grow in prayer.

A great way to do this is to learn to pray the Bible. Pray this prayer until you can pray without reading:

A prayer based on James 1:18; 2:1-7

Holy and sovereign God, You have created all things, and every word you speak is true. Thank You that You call people to new birth through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You that to be born again, is to become Your precious and beloved child. Help us to see the favouritism and prejudice in our life and then, by Your grace, to deeply repent and live a godly grace filled life with others. In Jesus Name. Amen.

I need to get God’s word in my mind and heart.

“My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism.”
