Growing in Grace

I need to develop godly attitudes.

A) Pray for godly attitudes in general & certain attitudes in particular.

B) Ask others to pray the same thing for you.

C) Repeat the attitude to help it sink in. Do this in conjunction with A & B!

Attitudes.

1. Jesus is not just my Lord, He is the Lord of Lords.

2. No human being knows how history is progressing.

3. Lying makes you lost and anxious. Truth-telling strengthens you and brings peace.

I need to grow in prayer.

A great way to do this is to learn to pray the Bible. Pray this prayer until you can pray without reading:

A prayer based on Hebrews 9:27-28

Almighty God, whose one and only Son died as a sacrifice for sin once for all, make us aware of the shortness and uncertainty of life, and establish our hearts in the saving death of the Lord Jesus Christ and His coming again in glory to judge the living and the dead. In Jesus name, AMEN.

I need to get God’s word in my mind and heart.

"27 And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, 28 so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him."
