Growing in Grace

I need to develop godly attitudes.

A) Pray for godly attitudes in general & certain attitudes in particular.

B) Ask others to pray the same thing for you.

C) Repeat the attitude to help it sink in. Do this in conjunction with A & B!

Attitudes.

1. There is no time when God does not invite me to Himself. (Calvin)

2. A minuscule faith in the Triune God is vastly better than a massive faith in an idol or a delusion.

3. The Lord is near to you, and He hears.

I need to grow in prayer.

A great way to do this is to learn to pray the Bible. Pray this prayer until you can pray without reading:

A prayer based on James 5:13-20

Lord God Almighty, Your Son's life, death and resurrection alone is sufficient to cover all our sin and to provide all our righteousness. As our Heavenly Father, You alone are sufficient for all our needs, all our circumstances, and all our days. Grow in us humble, penitent, trusting and obedient hearts that we might grow in frequent, daily, faithful prayer. In Jesus' Name, AMEN.

I need to get God’s word in my mind and heart.
