Same Church, New Name
In 1865 a church named St. Alban’s was started. 143 years later we joined an exciting new denomination known as the Anglican Network in Canada. The mission of this new group is to build biblically faithful, gospel sharing Anglican Churches. We are united with similar groups all around the world through the Fellowship of Confessing Anglicans. This year, we have changed our name to Church of the Messiah. We welcome all Christians, regardless of denomination, who are seeking a church home. We also welcome seekers and sceptics. Honest questions are always welcome! We hope you will join us.
Sunday Services
Sunday morning: Ottawa Little Theatre, 400 King Edward Ave (see map)
- 8am – quiet 1662 BCP communion service
- 10am – lively service combining contemporary and convergent music/language, with communion and Sunday School
Sunday evening: St. Peter and St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 152 Metcalfe St (see map)
- 7pm – evensong
